Show us the work!
The facts are clear that I am telling the truth. What reason would I have not to?
• We expected to pay for the Laskers’ services and did so, promptly. We can produce bank evidence that their initial fee was taken from our account. We can also produce evidence that we bought a Miva toolkit for their project.
• We clearly outlined the tasks and expected deliverables, via email communications that we can produce. It was reasonable for us to expect that they would do some work.
• We inquired repeatedly as to status of the project, via web and email messages that we can produce. Our inquiries were ignored, and Lasker can’t produce any evidence to the contrary.
• We had been waiting for months for any kind of response before we started trying to track them down. When we couldn’t, we finally sounded the alarm publicly. (We now know where they are.)
So, Chuck Lasker, if any work was done on our behalf, where is it? And why did you guys go silent when we started asking questions after months of waiting patiently?
I can prove my claim with solid evidence. I think you need to prove yours.
If anyone cares, I can prepare an Affadavit of Truth, have it notarized, file it with our Secretary of State on a UCC-3, and then post a scan of the filed document here as legal evidence of the facts of the matter. I’ll need to go through that process anyway to support a lawsuit if I ever come up with the funds to travel to Hawaii.
Our precious funds are tied up with the Laskers, and it’s a lot farther to prosecute a case in Hawaii, which has jurisdiction. Hence our online efforts. Never mind being able to pay for a different consultant to take over. We’ve been screwed and Lasker Consulting isn’t interested in coming up with any form of customer satisfaction. They seem to regard clients as animals to be bilked and milked.
Again, buyer beware.
