There’s an exciting story going on in Reno for followers of complementary and alternative (CAM) medicine — a historic conflict involving the aggressive efforts of FDA decisionmakers against Dr. James Forsythe. We’ve collected the principal newspaper articles here as Supporting Articles listed in the sidebar to the left.

Recent changes within the FDA administration have created an itch to reclaim the industry high ground for Big Pharma’s chemotherapy. The more aggressive climbers know they must get a win against Forsythe if they want their masters to be happy. Sounds simplistic, I know, but if you had seen these suits coming down the hall toward you, you would agree that simpletons were before you.

Dr. Forsythe has been trained in and has used traditional chemotherapy for 30 years, and he still values targeted chemotherapy for some cases. You might think he would have earned a sales bonus from the drug cartels for all that.

Where he is just too much of a fly in their profitable ointment is his shameless advocacy for alterative natural medicines such as Poly-MVA. He uses medicines of all sorts as adjunctive or completely alternative methods of treating his patients. Because he is a trained and experienced physician, results with seriously ill patients are his ultimate priority.

The FDA and their investigators have priorities also. Not being physicians as much as law enforcement majors, they know a lot about force, intimidation, and how to break and ruin people. It is our misfortune that they are so very good at what they do. Evidently, with the budget Big Pharma wields, they can afford the “best.”

Dually licensed as both an MD and HMD, Dr. Forsythe is bringing way too much credibility and good results for alternative medicine into this lucrative market for toxic chemotherapy in what we call these United States. Any decline in national revenue from the toxics poses a complete freakout situation for Big Pharma. They have hundreds of millions of dollars on the table and want to maintain their position of exclusivity.

Many other doctors share Dr. Forsythe’s appreciation for the more exciting advances in non-toxic treatments for cancer. Some of these colleagues and friends also get great results and save lives with these materials and methods. What sets the FDA’s bureaucratic teeth on edge is that Dr. Forsythe has become a high-profile person. His medical study results have been publicized through several national media venues. People fly in to visit his clinic from all over the world. Most seem to be glad for the results. The FDA, however, is on a mission to save the American public from the dire consequences of any safe and effective natural medicine.

The particulars of these nonsensical charges will come out in hearings and trials in the months ahead. It’s already pretty ugly, judging from the “hit pieces” run in the local paper. Many great letters on Dr. Forsythe’s behalf sent to the papers will never see the light of day. Investigators from the state and the medical Board are on record lying about whole segments of reality — investigators quoting Dr. Forsythe who have never even spoken with him, state medical board “public servants” (yeah, right!) accusing him of being a serious offender when hundreds of MDs in Nevada have had disciplinary actions and he has had none. None, save a business dispute with a $1000 fine in over 30 years of practice treating one of deadliest conditions known to our society.

This entire exercise seems like a sort of a social test. Haven’t we been here before? I wonder what this American public will accept as their liberties erode. What are your odds here at the Reno crap table for medical justice? I suggest you work on getting ultra-healthy and strong ASAP, just to stack the deck in your favor.

Out for now,
Dr. Lee
