Lipotropic Complex is a high-potency, time-tested
lipotropic formula with nutritional methyl
donors, standardized Milk Thistle Seed extract
(80% silymarin), Chelidonium,
Chionanthus, NF Oxbile Extract, and other synergists.
It combines phytonutrients and bile salts with
essential vitamins and minerals to provide comprehensive
nutritional support for hepatobiliary function.
Nutrients such as choline and methionine act as methyl
donors in hepatic transmethylation reactions, including
the conversion of homocysteine to methionine.
Vitamins B-6, B-12, and folic acid are required as
cofactors for these conversions. Silymarin, which
has been researched for its antioxidant effects, has also
been reported to act as a methyl donor.
