DMSO (DiMethyl SulfOxide) has been called "The
Aspirin of the 21st Century." It has been
helpful for the following conditions:

- thermal burns of the 1st and 2nd degree

When applied to the skin, DMSO penetrates rapidly and
passes into the tissue below. Scientists believe
DMSO may produce a wide range of pharmacologic actions,
including anti-inflammation (reduced swelling), local
analgesia (pain relief), bacteriostasis, diuresis,
cholinesterase inhibition, potentiator of the action of
concomitantly administered drugs, influence on collagen,
nonspecific enhancement of immunity, vasodilation, and
lessening of adhesiveness of blood platelets.
EXCELSA is a combination of MSM and
DMSO. It is provided as a topical gel containing
150mg/mL dimethyl sulfone and 1 mg/mL dimethyl sulfoxide
in deionized water. The gel is applied to the skin
to help in the relief of local pain and
