Paico comes from the leaf of the jungle plant
Chenopodium ambroidoides (Chenopodiaceae)).
Its most common medicinal use is to expel worms and other
parasites.
Paico leaf is also considered to be
effective in treating skin and kidney diseases, stomach
pains, hemorrhoids, high blood pressure, inflammations,
and asthma. In homes, people hang branches in the
house to repel insects, and as well as using the leaf to
season soups.
Scientific evidence suggests that Paico is an
efficacious treatment for controlling intestinal parasite
loads. It has been found effective against
Ascaris lumbricoides and Hymenolepsis nana.
Dosage: As a restorative tonic, use 10 to 15
drops in a glass of water, once or twice a day.
Contents: 100 percent Paico Chenopodium
ambroidoides (Chenopodiaceae)), distilled water, and
organic grain alcohol* (35 to 45 percent) in a 1 oz.
